It's Alive!

Okay, so I haven't fallen off the face of the Earth after all! Haha. Just very busy. There's so much to do and so little time! How do you guys keep on top of your blogging?

Anyway, I thought I'd drop in and give you all an update on me and the guys.

I'm still in school, though going part time this semester. I have a 4.0, earned a $1,000 scholarship for this school year, and have been invited to join the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. :)

Chris is working tons of overtime while it's available, so we don't see a lot of him lately. He's also taking 2 classes this semester and so far has A's in both. Very proud of him!

Christopher is in 4th grade, doing great, and is in the after school soccer club. He's becoming an avid reader! We check out 2 or 3 books from the library and he's done with them in less than 2 days! He's a big Goosebumps fan right now.

Matthew has started kindergarten and he LOVES it! I mean, he really, really, REALLLLLLLY loves school. He comes home on Friday and just looks so sad. He says something like, "Mom, did you know that I can't even go back to school for two WHOLE days?!" He had a little difficulty listening to the teacher during the first week, but learned that time out is not fun and has been good ever since. His teacher says that he is exceptionally bright. He recently brought home the class pet - a stuffed doggy named Biscuit. He had a little shirt, a jacket, a leash, and a scarf someone crocheted for him. We had to take Biscuit with us all weekend and then write about our adventures. :)

Joshua was a little mad that he couldn't go to school too! I think he's starting to enjoy having me, the toys, books, puzzles, and stuff all to himself during the day. :)

*Watch out for the flu - it seems to be going around; we already had it here a couple weeks ago. I planned on doing flu shots in October and we came down with the flu at the end of September.
